Preventative Cardiology and Rehabilitation

Preventive Cardiology & Rehabilitation offers services to patients with cardiovascular disease and those who have a high risk of developing it.

Our approach to patient care is collaborative, working with patients to promote positive lifestyle choices, reduce risk factors and prevent the reoccurrence or progression of cardiovascular disease. We welcome patients both with heart disease and those who may be at an increased risk for heart disease because of risk factors. Some of these risk factors may include:

  • Family history of heart disease
  • Complex cholesterol disorders (high LDL, low HDL or high triglycerides) or difficulty taking cholesterol
  • medications
  • Hypertension (high blood pressure)
  • Metabolic syndrome
  • Smoking
  • Diabetes
